Introduction Larry English has has built an impressive career in the Law, Public Service and as a writer. Among the clients he has represented are General Motors and Harrah’s. However, Larry is most proud of his representation of the powerless. A brilliant trial lawyer Larry has represented the poor and indigent in landmark voting right cases, civil rights litigation and criminal defense. In August 2011 he represented Robert McCoy pro-bono in a death penalty case. Larry continues his commitment of Public Service. He is the former Chairman of Community Board Nine in West Harlem. As Chairman he worked to build cooperation between the community and Columbia on its 7 billion dollar campus expansion, the first rezoning of West Harlem in 60 years, and Tasty-Bakery Development on 125th Street. Larry had a Sunday Column in Shreveport Journal. His articles have been published in USA Today, The Baton Rouge Business Report, and The Shreveport Times.Larry is a CNN Legal Analyst on the Conrad Murray Trial. Larry is married and has two children and lives the happy life of a New Yorker. Larry has a B.S. in Management from LSU-Shreveport and a J. D. from Tulane.
