Introduction	I should have gone to design school, but instead I got a degree in genetics. So now I'm in the wrong career, but I'm in my 40s now and realize it's not about making lots of money, not that I make all that much. Rather, it's about doing what you love to do. So my dilemma is whether or not I should open a fabric and yarn store, fill with with gorgeous stuff and teach classes? It's my dream. But I don't want to lose my shirt, either. So in the meantime I continue to work for The Man when I have to and make things when I can. And I spend as much time as possible with my charming husband and two adorable dogs: Rocco and Ronda. They're awfully cute, but they do have some less than cute social habits. Still, I adore them and it appears to be mutual. At least they jump all over me and cover me with their fur.
Interests	Sewing and knitting with really gorgeous fibers. No polyester. No acrylic. It's not snobbery, it's just that they're beautiful to touch and look at and sewing and knitting requires that you spend a lot of time with this stuff, so it may as well be really good stuff.
Favorite Movies	Breakfast at Tiffany's, A Beautiful Life
Favorite Music	Blues, jazz, reggae
Favorite Books	Lonesome Dove, Let's Not Go to the Dogs Tonight, most of David Sedaris's stuff.
