| Introduction | Hello! I am in everysense of the word a "normal" young woman struggling to make a place for her in this world. I like to shop, I like my pedicures, and the idea of living sustainably was nowhere on my Radar. Then one day my lovely younger sister gave me a book called Gorgeously Green. What was this green thing? Wasn't that for hippies and tree huggers? After reading the book I felt duped. I was outraged! My cosmetics could cause cancer. My nailpolish had formaldehyde in it! The clothes that I got on a shopping spree were harming the environment. To put it mildly I was SHOCKED!! I made up my mind that I would begin to live a sustainable lifestyle. |
