| Introduction | Hi, My name is Cindy, and I am attempting to create a blog. I have no idea what a “widget” is, or a “gadget” or HTML is. So, for now, my blog may have wonky spots, and links don’t lead to anything, I have no idea why, but I’m working on it. I wanted to share some of the process of redoing my house with the help of the amazing Jennifer from “The Old Painted Cottage” She helped me so much, knowing I had very little money to work with, and when I say little money, that means, maybe I have $100.00 if I pay my Verizon bill late. I am a mom of a 23 year old boy with Asbergers who’s the sweetest smartest person you ever met, and a 20 year old daughter who has given me at least 19 nervous breakdowns so far, but is as earthy and loving as they come, when she’s not stealing your change. I have a full time job, I’m an artist, I have panic attacks, and IBS, and heart palpitations. I tried to start an Etsy shop to sell my paintings, but it turned out that shipping a painting costs approximately $62,000.00 dollars, so I haven’t quite figured out how that’s going to work. So far, the one thing I know for sure is this, thank God for vodka, and a good sense of humor… Cindy |
