| Introduction | My interest in reading and producing comics began at a very early age, and I'm not sure why. Back then, the Mickey Mouse and Popeye cartoons really caught my eye, when I was 5 or so. "Peanuts" became my world beginning at the age of 6, and I could draw most of the Charlie Brown gang before the age of 8 - first I traced the Sunday page, and soon I was able to draw them free style. The flicker was lit, and my desire to draw cartoons has never subsided. Also, I had a lot of siblings running around, and one of my favorite places to get away from it all was the comics. I could go into my own little world and visit my "friends" whenever I wanted. Back then, it was mostly "Peanuts", but soon I broadened my comic horizon to "Pogo", "B.C", "Dennis the Menace", and always made sure I read the daily comics - especially the wonderful colorful Sunday editions. |
| Interests | The comics are someplace I like to "be" each day, and someplace where I want my work to be. |
| Favorite movies | How about some of my FAVORITE COMIC STRIPS instead? Not necessarily in any humorous order: Blondie, Rose is Rose, Get Fuzzy, Peanuts, Liberty Meadows, Mutts, Zits, Pogo, Li'l Abner just to name a few. |
| Favorite music | Such a wide variety: pop, jazz, oldies, new age, classical, gospel, inspirational, blue grass |
| Favorite books | Currently reading: Cutting for Stone, At Home in Mitford, and I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings - loved the Harry Potter Books and all Wicked books |
Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:
By watching "Sleepless in Seattle" - Meg Ryan really does it, you know!
