Introduction | Samantha Aimee Esther Nicolette Meiler is a quriky Toronto based artist and illustrator. Taking inspiration from Art Nouveau, Samantha's work explores the existential survival of the everyday girl through pattern, fashion and obsessive detail; love, death, doubt, joy, fear, frustration and exhiliration collide with frilly dresses and fantasy land. Sam graduated from the University of Waterloo with a B.A. Hon. in Fine Arts. In her spare time, she enjoys watching bad movies, eating noodles and arguing about Camus. Easy question. Nude body suit, ice myself and decorate with gumdrops and m&ms...none of that hard candy which is only good for show and not for eatin'.
