| Introduction | Top 5 dead or alive: The Matrix, GoodFellas, Finding Nemo, Pulp Fiction, Malcolm X The most satisfying movies engage me intelectually, but are still very much grounded in emotionally. Film should transport you to a new world or at least reveal some things that you hadn't seen before. Above else, they should be uncompromising narratively and express something about how the filmmaker sees life....that's not too much to ask is it? |
