| Introduction | This is the title of Oswald Chamber's MY UTMOST FOR HIS HIGHEST for February 12th. This is also the day we sent our application to All God's Children! I have always had a heart for children and especially for those without a family of their own. The only way I can understand the plight of the helpless orphan is to first trust God and then ask Him how we are to be the "hands and feet of Christ" to these children. After many years of prayer, we are going to be a "forever family" to an Ethiopian orphan! Chambers writes: "We like to listen to personal testimonies, but we don't want God Himself to speak to us. Why are we so terrified for God to speak to us? It is because we know that when God speaks we must either do what He asks or tell Him we will not obey." I am so thankful that we have "heard God speak" and feel honored to be walking in HIS WILL. We look forward to sharing this adoption adventure with you, as we grow in our faith and continue to give God the glory!
