| Introduction | i grew up in gardiner, maine. after 20 years away, i'm back...with my husband and two kids (who are 6 and 2). mainly, i like to make new stuff from old stuff. i love: flea markets, yard sales, thrift stores...etc. etc., mid century furniture that is in horrible shape and no one else wants, spray paint, wood chairs that need help, bright colors, my house-- built in 1833 by a shipbuilder, symmetry, circles, craigslist, making new stuff out of old crap...making the old crap modern, sewing recycled cashmere into hats/sweaters/mittens. i repurpose, reuse, remake...and in maine, i will remain. |
