Introduction	Some years ago I decided that what I had been doing with my life just wasn't enough. I made a decision, one that has impacted every aspect of my life, and most importantly, my future. That decision was to go back to school and make something of myself, for me & my family. The timing had to be right in order for me to accomplish this task. Opportunity knocked on the door in the fall of 2007. We moved from a tiny apartment in the city to a decent chunk of land & a wonderful house. That is when I stopped working full-time, and started focusing on my hopes, dreams, and aspirations to get through college, and spend more time with my children. My achievements thus far: Kaplan University: AAS in MT in August 2009 Kaplan President's List (3 terms), Dean's List (6 terms) Kaplan University Educational Chapter of AHDI: President AHDI / OA-AHDI: Former student member & volunteer - Awards & Recognition Committee, Education Committee Co-Chair, Fun & Games Team AHDI-SA: 2008 Volunteer, 2009 Online Education Coordinator (1/5 of the Coord.
