Introduction	I'm a university student from the UK, with a bit of time on my hands this summer, a rare gift in a busy world! I decided to make this blog to try and combat some of the injustice in the world through research and action. I hope it will give busy people the chance to feel better informed about the issues facing today's people and planet, and help them to choose how to respond. It's not intended to be a solution, and I'm certainly guilty of not implementing some of the things I've suggested myself! But I believe that if we all make a few changes, big or small, these will all come together to form a big change. Compassion is vital in today's fast-paced and often depressing society. I hope that through this blog, you realise that we all have such a chance to show compassion through our actions, and to use our influence, however small, for good. I'm a Christian, and my faith of course influences my thoughts on today's issues, but whether or not you wish to join in with any prayer suggestions etc, I hope that this can be a blog that is open to all and where everyone feels free to respond how they wish. Any bullying or trolling will be reported and acted on.
