| Introduction | ...hope in suffering ...beauty, redemption and restoration ...indelible love, amazing grace, peace on earth. ...joy in our poverty of the human heart ...privileged to be called to Uganda through World Harvest Mission. In 1993 I moved to live in community with the Bundibugyo Team and the Babwisi people, the Bakonjo people and now the Batoro people of Western Uganda. Ugandans are resilient people and who have great joy. Many people in these communities often suffer under a yoke of poverty, poor health care and a host of illnesses. They strive for development and hope for change in the face of rampant corruption, debilitating sickness and fear on many levels. |
