| Introduction | I am a novelist and true crime author. Worked for a time for Associated Press in Fleet Street, as a teleprinter operator (long before the Internet and emails).But that is the nearest i ever got to achieving my ambition to become a journalist. Despite leaving school at 15 with no O'levels, I spelled 20 difficult words over the phone in a cub reporter test for a daily paper. But I was told I wasn't good enough because I spelled one word incorrectly - "Haemorrhage"! I later went to University as a mature student and graduated with joint honours in History & English. I am particularly interested in literature, politics and miscarriages of justice. Currently completing latest true crime book - Murderers Or Martyrs about a 1951 Liverpool murder case. |
