Introduction	I was an elementary school teacher for fifteen years and absolutely LOVED my job! I was named my school's 2011-2012 Teacher of the Year and a semi-finalist for my district's 2011-2012 Teacher of the Year. I received my National Board Certification in 2007. I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Reading. I firmly believe that if a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn; therefore, I am not afraid to be an uber-dork if it means that my kids will learn. My husband Bill and I have been married for fourteen years and we have the best dog and the cutest and best set of almost Irish triplets in the world!
