| Introduction | Raised in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountain Range I have been blessed with both the beauty and the culture of small town America as I grew up. Everybody in our little community, about 400 people, looked out for their neighbor and was always there when they needed help and of course there was the Saturday night card game for the adults and playing together for the kids. Maybe not as fancy as some folk, but together my parents taught me strong values and a since of responsibility that I carry with me to this day and by the grace of God will continue to carry to the grave. Eventually of course to my chagrin came the inevitable trip to the flat lands for schools and career. First High School then the military and college after which I worked in the defense industry until I retired. By God’s grace I have been privileged to spend my entire career working on cutting edge technology in the company of some of the finest minds in America, building a stronger nation and catapulting technological advances forward in almost every field. In fact I have been so blessed in my life that I hope to use these skills to help give back to the nation who has given me so much. |
