Introduction	I go to the movies a lot. And there have been times when I said to myself, I've got to speak my mind about this movie to others who might be interested in seeing it. Hence, the reason for this blog site. I'm not a professional movie critic, mind you. But I have the advantage of seeing movies with REAL people who are there to hopefully watch an enjoyable show, unlike movie critics who watch advanced screenings with their fellow critics to try and upstage each other with their "insightful professorial" movie reviews! Look ... plain and simple, it's the movie audience, not the movie critic, which decides if a movie is worth watching or not--this is how box-office receipts are counted. And you know what they say: "MONEY talks, Bullshit walks." I don't subscribe to the standard use of letter-grades for my reviews. I either tell people to see a particular movie or not. It doesn't get any simpler than this. My preferred haunts are: CENTURY 14 VALLEJO, for convenience; EDWARDS FAIRFIELD STADIUM 16 for I-Max and Midnight shows; CINE ARTS @ PLEASANT HILL for "indie" films; and AMC BAY STREET 16 for Pixar movies.
