| Introduction | Mahaguru Hanshi Subrasan was born in 1952. Started training Karate at age of 11 (1963) under Japanese teacher Y.Ishikawa (1966), T.Yoneda (1966-1967), H.Mori 1967-1969), Tagasaka (1967-1971) and Kamesan(1971-1980). Mahaguru Hanshi Subrasan formed and owned Karate Association and to be the first pioneer to teach karate in mainland of Penang state, Malaysia as early as 1969. In 1991, Mahaguru Hanshi Subrasan went to Japan and trained several months under Soo Shihan Hoshu Ikeda. He also took part in International Jyoshinmon World Championship as well. Received authorised teaching certificate from Japan International Grand Master/Founder Soo Shihan Hoshu Ikeda to teach Jyoshinmon Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do and authorised chief instructor for Jyoshinmon Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do Malaysia. Till today he’s still loyal to his teacher by teaching this Japan Jyoshinmon Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do in Malaysia with his blessings. |
