| Introduction | I am married and have 3 lovely sons. I have 3 little dogs and an African Grey parrot, who are my little treasures. I spend most of my time in doors crafting, writing my book and short stories and poetry. I am now in a wheelchair following complications from bladder surgery in december 2000 (dont ask!!) This resulted in me developing bi-lateral lower limb compartment syndrome. Before this I was a busy nurse working in the private sector, NHS and in a my local hospice. I really loved my work. I was also diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002. I've been working hard on my mobility and can now walk a few steps. I manage though and usually work out a way to get by. I've met quite a few celebritys over the years with my charity work. Here are a few of the names you might recognise:_- George Michael and his boyfriend Kenny, Michael Bolton (several times and usually every time he's over in the Uk)Billy Ocean, Jeff Brazier, Jessie Wallace, Bradley Walsh, Nick Berry, Perry Fenwick (Billy Mitchel) Martine Mcutcheon, David and Victoria Beckham, Dannii Minogue, Liz Hurley, Graham Hill, Damon Hill, All the great F1 drivers (I'm a huge fan)Brian Conley, Ant and Dec, plus many,many more. |
| Interests | I love anything to do with Michael Bolton, I love writing stories, poems, songs, crafting, jewellery making, singing, sewing, computing and driving. |
