| Favorite movies | I'm quite an Anime fan, and I love Katsuhiro Otomo's 'Akira,' and 'Metropolis' remake. Mamoru Oshii's films are also fantastic, especially 'Ghost in the Shell' and I love Studio Ghibli's jawdropping achievements. Director Terry Gilliam is another favourite, especially his adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' and his own arch de triumph, 'Brazil.' My favourite film is a toss up between 'The Big Lebowski,' '2001: A Space Odyssey,' or the Post Modern mirror image that is 'Blade Runner.' |
| Favorite music | Well theres a hell of a lot! I'll have to refine it to anything on Warp Records, i.e. Aphex Twin's Ambient Works, Flying Lotus and Prefuse 73. I'm a big listener to anything psychedelic like the Mars Volta, and pre 'The Wall' era Pink Floyd. Also Fourtet, Godspeed you Black Emporer, J Dilla, Burial and Queens of the Stone Age. |
| Favorite books | Anything by Manga God Osamu Tezuka, so 'Black Jack,' 'Ode to Kirihito,' 'Dororo' and 'Phoenix.' Alan Moore's 'Watchmen,' and if you mean books with just words in them, then Alex Garland's 'The Beach.' |
