| Introduction | I am a 45 year old redheaded bipolar disabled remarried woman with one daughter. I am in mental health treatment and recovery. I try to use my experience to be helpful and sympathetic to other women who suffer similar issues to my own. I try to meet their needs, and am keenly interested in legal and social issues relating to the rights and options available to the mentally ill. I love to search websites regarding new research, treatment options and medications available to and for all forms of mental illness, but particularly the psychotic spectrum disorders, such as bipolar affective disorder, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, and postpartum psychosis. I am deeply concerned with the stigma attached to many people who, through no fault of their own, are stricken with these devastating illnesses. |
