| Introduction | I aim to design innovative wearable garments. I don’t choose to design complicated extravagant pieces I feel it is more daring to strip away all the decoration and concentrate on function. When a garment is stripped back to its bare essentials it has to speak for itself. Rick Owens demonstrates this perfectly in every collection he is a great source of inspiration. When I design a garment I design for myself and believe if I wouldn’t wear my design then I won’t produce it. |
