Introduction	Hello everyone! This is an educational blog devoted to developing and expanding one's cultural knowledge and literacy of Anglo-American culture through the medium of comics. The purpose is to help ESL students that are fluent or near fluent in English. Through comics, one can learn about cultural ideas, beliefs, norms, and humour. Also, comics are a quick and easy way to teach and break down the meaning behind popular figures of speech, slangs, idioms, expressions, and other terms unfamiliar to those of an ESL background. Qualifications: I am a Canadian teacher and tutor in my mid-twenties. I graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. I also hold a Bachelor of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. I hold full teacher certification in both Canada and the United Kingdom.
