| Introduction | I'm a chubby menopausal wife, unconventional mom to 4 kids, fairy grandmother to princess Alayna. I grew up in a small town of one hundred townsfolk (most blood related) smack dab in the heart of Central Illinois-surrounded by cornfields & grain elevators-and skylines filled with clouds that are as wide & deep as the oceans. I have a daughter in her 20s that is headstrong on repeating all of my past mistakes with a lot more zeal & gusto. I also gave birth to an amazing son (with Asperger's) who fills his days learning new things (fixing clocks, raising hydroponic tomatoes, brewing his own root beer). I also have a set of twin girls that are entering high school. One is an introvert. She would rather spend hours in her room napping, watching YouTube videos & re-applying make up than almost anything else. The other twin, has SEDc (a form of dwarfism), is currently wheelchair dependent & awaiting her 4th surgery (hip replacement- others include bilateral osteotomies & a spinal fusion). She prefers to spend HER day pestering me relentlessly until I am finally left no choice but to change out of my pajamas & entertain her. I wouldn’t trade my life for all the tea in China. |
| Interests | Reading, writing, sleeping, laughing, I enjoy reading, spending WAY too much time on Facebook, daydreaming, researching nutrition, being positive to an obnoxious magnitude, doodling with Sharpies, and I am constantly distracted with DIY projects. |
