Introduction	Jaidev Iyer is Managing Director at GARP, and a member of its senior management team. Jaidev came to GARP in January 2009, from a 28 year career at Citigroup where he most recently held the position of Global Head of Operational Risk for Citi’s Institutional Clients Group. Jaidev was a member of GARP’s Board of Trustees for the 2004-2008 period. At GARP, Jaidev heads Business Development globally; he is also focused on putting into place an “Advocacy” program for the Association, actively speaking up and sponsoring debate on matters of risk importance. At Citigroup, Jaidev held a variety of key positions. Roles prior to Operational Risk included Global Head of Risk for Asset Management, Head of Derivatives for Private Banking, Head of Market Risk for the Americas, Head of Middle East Treasury, Head of Derivatives Financial Engineering for Asia, and Head of Market Risk for North Asia. Jaidev’s academic background is in Statistics and Economics. He also has a CFA charter, and executive management programs from the Kellogg School (Northwestern University) as well as the Kennedy School of Government (Harvard)
