Introduction	With the freshest sounds of tech, progressive, disco and funk all thrown into the mix, Pretension’s unique brand of house connects with the soul and rattles the brain. From spending his coin on CDs and concert tickets to swapping mixtapes in the school yard, Pretension knows what kind of music truly brings people together. His love of listening quickly grew into a love of creating and Pretension re-edits and bootlegs soon made their way into CD wallets around the world. After cutting his teeth on remix duties for artists on Vinyl Pusher, Kitschy, Silver Sneaker and DJ Center Records, Pretension has been kicking nothing but goals in 2010. Having taken out both the Christopher Lawrence and the Lychee Martini remix competitions he then made the Top 10 in the We No Speak Americano remix comp and his song, We Can Run, with Nino Live, won Radio Metro’s Making Music competition. Along with the on-going remix work, Pretension is now focusing on his own originals and collaborations with Nino Live as the duo, Stark Lion. Stayed tuned for future releases on Midnite Music and Central Station Records and keep an eye out for Pretension in a club or on a festival stage near you.
