| Introduction | I am an obsessive compulsive artist. I can't seem to not do art. I also have a curious mind. If I see an art, or a craft that I can't figure out how they do it, I will obsess until I learn that craft. So I have learned wood carving, glass blowing, lost wax bronze casting, ceramics, lampwork, oil painting, and many other crafts. Some stick and become my arts, painting giant insects (my friend's mom Rosa told me 12 years ago I will eventually paint them out and move on to something new), fiber work, stained glass kaliedoscopes, and multimedia. This art project came to me in a dream, and it haunts my dreams nightly. I spend my days creating, surrounded my laughing children, brilliant and sarcastic most of whom I have no idea where they came from. |
