| Introduction | Call me Dee. I've been restless my entire life. I have a difficult time concentrating on the present because I'm always looking to the future with great trepidation, so much so, I know my wily brain is the cause of my many grey hairs at the tender age of 27. It wasn't until I discovered the writings of St. Augustine of Hippo that I realized that my problem is not a problem at all: God is calling me to seek Him, whether that be in my South Louisiana home or abroad. He's saying to me, "Stop waiting, stop thinking, stop worrying, and, most of all, stop weighing. Just go." So I am giving into the restlessness. I am going to travel, eat, drink, indulge, cry, laugh, explore, and pray. I hope to capture my time of spiritual exploration as well as culinary adventures on this blog. Enjoy! |
