| Introduction | I am ABD (All but Dissertation) PhD candidate in Teacher Education at Michigan State University. My research interests include ways in which justice and equality are portrayed in Children and Adolescent literature. I am also interested in methods that would improve the interdisciplinary connections that exist between English and the social sciences and ways in which teachers can foster and develop these connections.
