| Introduction | DIY University provides a loose framework through which participants create, discuss, and collaborate in designing curriculum, presentations, and situations for acting and reacting. DIYU seeks to test and promote modes of teaching and learning that traditional avenues of education neglect. DIYU “classes” can include experimental lectures, film viewings, critiques, studio visits, brainstorming sessions, jogging tours, or garage sales. Participants take turns planning and leading the “classes.” |
