| Introduction | Rick McAtee is the president of Turning a New Page (TNP). TNP focuses on literacy programs that help older struggling students. His work has been featured on an ABC special, “Reading: Your ABCs to Success”, in the Journal of Adolescent and Adult Literacy and numerous newspaper articles. Rick has written several children’s books including Santa tells Why and the Alphabetland Series. He taught for sixteen years and has an M.S. in reading. He is the president of the Marana Foundation For Educational Excellence. |
