| Introduction | Our story begins in 2001 when Chad and I were married. Though born and raised for generations in Orange County, we left our homeland in 2008 to start a new life in Houston, Texas. Along for the ride is our son Archer who is 11. He likes listening to dubstep, playing Minecraft, and learning how to be Steve Jobs. He hates unfairness, Miranda Cosgrove, and everything I make for dinner. Our daughter Della Belle is 8 and is only one of 30ish children with a rare genetic mutation of the ASXL3 gene. She likes her school bus, kitties, and watching Russian cartoons. She dislikes anyone wearing a white coat and/or latex gloves, the "waiting" icon on the iPad, and everything I make for dinner (surprise, surprise). |
