| Introduction | As a lawyer coach, I help lawyers make changes to build the practice they want and take charge of their career. The most common areas for coaching include business development and marketing, career advancement, productivity, satisfaction and balance. My clients include solo practitioners and lawyers in firms of all sizes, in house counsel, judges, future judges, law students and other professionals. I am a Michigan Wolverine with my undergraduate degree and my JD from the University of Michigan. I had practiced law as a commercial litigator and partner for 18 years in a large Michigan firm when I started asking myself "What's next? What else is possible?" I wanted something more meaningful and more challenging. I wanted something where I could better align my strengths, experiences and passion in the legal profession. While reading "Good to Great", I had an aha moment. I saw that the intersection of my "three circles" was a place that met a need in our profession -- helping individual lawyers reach their full potential and their own definition of success. That is what I do with my clients every week in Michigan and elsewhere. |
