Introduction Roger Bonair-Agard is a native of Trinidad & Tobago, a Cave Canem fellow and author of 2 collections of poetry, tarnish and masquerade (Cypher Books, 2006) and GULLY (Cypher Books, Peepal Tree Press, 2010). He is an MFA candidate at University of Southern Maine's Stonecoast Program and co-founder of New York City's LouderARTS Project. A 2-time National Poetry Slam champion, Roger is poet-in-residence with Young Chicago Authors and Vision Into Art. He is an avid sports fan, a relentless shit-talker, a hedonist.
