| Introduction | I was born in 1945 in Washington, D.C. At age three the family moved to Brooklyn, NY. I attended Catholic Grade School and for two years Brooklyn and Rockville Centre's minor seminaries. My Junior year was spent at Hempstead High, and after the death of my father in February, I quit school and went to work for Pan AM. After four years work, attending senior year and freshman college at night, I joined with the Fanciscans and spent the next 11 years with them. I was not permitted to take solomn vows so I worked in Washington for three years until I was accepted by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and was ordained in 1977. In 1994, I began Genealogy research, a task first assigned to me by Mae (Albrecht) Veprovsky in the late 1960's.In 2005 I left the priesthood and had more time to devote to this research. |
