Introduction	I moved to Turkey from England in 1998 and married my Turkish husband in 1999. We have lived in different areas of Turkey. In fact we have moved 15 times to date.
Interests	. I enjoy spending time with my rescue dogs. My beautiful dog Beki, died in June 2012, aged 10 years, leaving me with my little dog Poppy. At the beginning of 2013 I rescued four more dogs from the streets, Sammy, Megan, Blondie and Freddie. I have had them all neutered, vaccinated and treated for parasites. They are now part of our family. And a new addition...Monty...rescued by a charity near Marmaris to be a companion for Poppy. A short time later I adopted another dog from the Fethiye area called . Tommy. Sadly little Poppy passed away on 3rd December 2013, just weeks after Monty's arrival. I also feed the stray dogs in the village and local industrial estate, and 2 years ago rescued 7 pups from there at the end Four we found homes for locally, and the remaining three, Chas & Dave, and Melek, we brought to our home at 4 weeks old. In November 2014 we adopted a further two dogs, Timmy a 3 month old tiny pup saved from going back to the shelter, and Fistik, a 4yr old girl who had been fostered by Sonia of Gokova Animal Rescue. This brought the total to 11. Sadly Dave died suddenly in January just before his first birthday..Most recently we found Sadie, dumped on the streets of Milas. A beautiful golden retriever. She has also been spayed. Another boy called Arthur rescued on 17th March 2016 now brings our total at home to 12. I now have a garden to tend but I have no real knowledge of gardening, and with so many dogs to care for, very little time.
