| Introduction | I am originally from Mexico City, where I grew up and went to business school at Universidad Iberoamericana-Santa Fe. I came to the US in 2004 to pursue my M.A in mass communication at Texas State University-San Marcos. After a couple of years of hard work, I finally graduated in 2007. I've been working as an Account Planner for the last 2 1/2 years, specifically concentrating my work on Hispanic teens, acculturation, shopping behavior and branding. I truly believe that successful strategic communication plans are born from pure and true human understanding. Therefore, it is our challenge as planners to be memorable storytellers and transform that breakthrough understanding into an actionable insight that will inspire creative communication.
