Introduction	I'm a 40 year old mom of four, going to be 5. I started my career with children at the age of 20. I began by working with daycare's, around the same time I began studying child psychology. At the age of 25 I started my own daycare, that then branched out into parenting classes. I have taken the worst behaved, most belligerent, even destructive and disruptive children, and turned them into models of behavior. I have never had to yell, spank or threaten a child, and never would consider it. My whole philosophy can be summed up into 2 words mutual respect. The parents I have helped nicknamed me The parenting Guru, hence the name for the blog.
