| Introduction | I am a classroom teacher and a lover of books! Currently teaching HS English, I enjoy reading on so many levels, but most importantly, I love the relationship I develop with the story. Sometimes I am not fully aware of the power of the relationship until much later. Finally, I love helping my students connect with meaningful literature. Whether they view the book as a mirror; something they are able to see parts of themselves in, or a window; something that helps them to hone qualities like empathy and compassion, is not important. Either way, they are growing and learning about the world and their place in it. It doesn't get any better! |
