| Introduction | At age 15 I went with my family to live in Nigeria. I loved Nigeria, I got sent to high school in Rome, I loved Italy. From that point on I was and still am hooked. I love to travel but I do not make a good tourist. I prefer off the beaten track and I prefer to travel with a purpose. I have been to 32 countries and have lived 7 1/2 years overseas, mostly Africa, often in primitive and challenging situations. Currently my focus is on humanitarian relief work. I plan to return to Burundi and Haiti, the people of those lands have captured my heart...and then...who knows where else in the world I will end up. |
