Introduction Mr. Mora-Gonzalez recived his BSc degree in electronics from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aguascalientes (ITA), Aguascalientes, México, in 1996, and his PhD in optics from the Centro de Investigaciones en Óptica (CIO) and Universidad de Guanajuato (UG) in León, Guanajuato, México, in 2003. He worked as research-assistant in CIO in the first few months of 2003. From 2003 to 2006, he was worked as professor with the Universidad Politécnica de Aguascalientes (UPA), Aguascalientes, Mexico. Since 2006, he has been a research-professor at the Universidad de Guadalajara (UdeG), Centro Universitario de los Lagos (CULagos) in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico. His research interests include optical testing, applied optics, optical metrology, interferometry, liquid crystals, digital image processing and pattern recognition.
