| Introduction | What's there to say... I love comics. I cant get enough of that page flipping goodness. I'll probably be ranting about them quite a lot. Not really a huge fan of traditional superhero comics. I go for the more sinister, off the beaten track, sci-fi, cyberpunk, dystopian, horror, action crime, fantasy varieties. I love authors like Ellis and Ennis, Millar and Kirkman, Seeley and Nelson, Vaughn, and Gaiman, and so many more. To date two of my favorite artists are Jacen Burrows, followed closely by Gabrielle Rodriguez. I love the whole idea of comics; the fusing of art and literature. When done properly it can drop your jaw & blow your mind. As far as I go.. I'm a Locksmith/Bookkeeper in NYC. I love spending time with my uber-awesome hubby, and kids. My man loves the comics as well, so my kids are future fans in training :). I also love the horror, the bloodier the better. I have no issue with tits covered in gore. Some people find it dumb. I find it awesome. The hubby, and I do some video horror movies reviews for Horror Happy Hour. It's a fun hobby, and we get to work with some really talented people. (Sorry, shameless plug). |
