| Introduction | I was raised an Army brat and traveled around a lot in my early years. I began to take classes in drawing and painting when my children started school. A decade later my passion has taken me to the place where I want to share my work and here I am starting an ebay store after being successful at selling my artwork around the Mid-Atlantic States. I primarily enjoy painting landscapes in oil and acrylics. My favorite subjects are rolling hills, trees, water, and skies. I especially like to paint landscapes from places I have traveled both from photographs and ''plein air''. My interests lay in the nature found around me. But in the past few years I have begun to branch out into city scapes, still lifes, and animals. My work has been exhibited in numerous locations around the Mid-Atlantic Region. I live in Arlington, Virginia with my husband and two children. I continue to study painting under the direction of other local artists and teachers and am a member of the Arlington Artist Alliance, the Art League of Alexandria, and the Rehoboth Beach Art League. |
