| Favorite music | Anything that catches my ear at the time. I love the Scissor Sisters' song, "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'," and I enjoy the groups, She & Him, and Rusted Root. |
| Favorite books | Here's where I get excited! I love Shannon Hale's writing. Check out her books, "Goose Girl," "Enna Burning," "River Secrets," "Forest Born," "The Princess Academy," and "Austenland"--these are my favorites of hers. I also love Terry Pratchett's Tiffany Aching series: "The Wee Free Men," "A Hat Full of Sky," and "Wintersmith." I think J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books are brilliant as well. A recent favorite writer is Megan Whalen Turner, author of "The Thief." The whole series is phenomenal! I love Geraldine McCaughrean's "Kite Rider," Michelle Magorian's "Good Night Mr. Tom," and Agatha Christie's Miss Marple stories. I'm also a huge Jane Yolen fan. I could go on for hours... |
