Introduction	I can't wait for August 29th, 2008. That is the day I will set sail on the voyage of a lifetime. I will leave all that I know behind and set off on a journey into the unknown, travelling the four corners of the earth in 100 days and meeting people who I will never forget. I will see things I never knew existed, I will interact with people who don't speak my language by means of smiles and hand gestures, I will become angry with Americas over-indulged culture, but I will remember where I came from, who I am, and that I love my country and my people. I will laugh at the good times we have in each country, cry when I see children starving and living in poverty, and think long and hard about what I really want out of my life and what I am meant to do while I'm alive. I will come back a changed person and I won't be able to explain the effect that Semester at Sea has had on me.
