Tour de Legacy 2015

About me

Introduction	Following on from a successful ride in 2013 from Melbourne to Adelaide, to coincide with the 100 year anniversary of Gallipoli, a group of 26 keen riders will be putting their mental and physical stamina to the test again, and together with 7 support crew, will be riding from Canberra to Adelaide, 1,500 km, in 2015. They'll be joined in Mildura, at the 1,000 km mark, by another 15 riders. From many wide and diverse backgrounds, these road warriors will be dedicating this ride over 12 days to raise the profile and awareness of Legacy, and the great work they conduct in the community for our return defence force personnel and their families.
Interests	Legacy is a voluntary organisation providing services to Australian families suffering financially or socially after the incapacitation or death of a spouse or parent during or after their defence force service. We currently care for around 90,000 widows and 1,900 children and dependants throughout Australia.
