Introduction	I am a 40-something artsy-type following The Church Of The Latter Day Dude in all things, and a black dog owner. Join me in posting about these wonderful dogs so often overlooked in shelters because of the color of their coats. My Lab Mix, Libby is an amazing dog and is bringing my family SO much joy! She came from a high kill shelter when she was 5 months old by a wonderful man who saw her beauty and now lives here with us in Newbury Park where we can give her all the attention, exercise and mental stimulation this smart girl needs!
