Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?
Neither, but I remember very fondly Father Cyprian Nordus, an ancient Benedictan priest who wandered our neighborhoods and carved the most wonderful things from soap, candy wax and trash scrap wood. He made our names in copper wire. He's a saint in heaven.
