Introduction | - I am a born again believer - I love to play the piano, "fiddle" on the computer, and craft (sew, scrapbook, etc.) These activities generally keep me out of trouble - I love when I can be with my family, especially my niece and nephews - I love talking and laughing whether in person, on the phone, im-ing, or smoke signals. Any way I can! - I love to watch movies, old and new alike - I love hearing the simplistic speech of young children, they're real and tell you how it is in their innocent way - I love to try new adventures if for nothing else than to say "I did it!" - I enjoy being semi-active. Kicking around a soccer ball, playing catch, shooting hoops, swimming, hiking (NOT mountain climbing - just hiking!) - I also love playing board games. My competitive spirit unfortunately, causes me only to play games with friends who know me well - I am slowly learning not to fear the kitchen - I love to travel and see new things - I love photography, Kodak moments, and candid shots that reveal emotion and so much more - I love sharing my stories so others can join in the laughter after reading about the things that happen Only-2-Me! |
Interests | Piano, Good Old Movies, Pictures, Scrapbooking, Stationery, Funny Quotes/Sayings, Organzing "others", Traveling, Sudoku, Bargain Shopping, SHOES, Sewing, Baking |
Favorite Movies | Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy, (Soon to be) Bourne Ultimatum, Shooter, Return to Me, Ever After, Last Holiday, Roman Holiday (Audrey Hepburn films), Musicals (some), Shirley Temple movies, Anne of Green Gables, Just about every animated flick. I like action, romance, and comedy movies all the same, but I do not sit and watch sci-fi, horror, war movies, or nature shows. I've watched a few war movies and most of the time I have my hands over my eyes and when it's over I'm exhausted b/c I feel like I was right there fighting with everyone. I also feel the pain - literally!! When we watch Home Alone - to this day my face hurts when the iron drops down from the laundry chute and through each trap those guys walk right into. So imagine what a headache I have after watching The Patriot, and Saving Private Ryan. Minus the fighting scenes they were excellent movies!! ;) |
Favorite Music | Christian music, southern gospel, oldies, movie soundtracks, Josh Groban, the Gaithers |
Favorite Books | The Bible, Humorous books, Mysteries, John Grisham, Books of Photography, Children's books I get to read over and over and over and over and over again to my niece. (If I read them enough, she memorizes them, and then reads them over and over and over and over again to me - but my eyes can shut while she reads!) |
