| Introduction | My name is Emily Jane Buttorff. I am currently a senior at Lock Haven University. I am working towards a degree in Elementary Education. I hope to be certified in Math before I graduate. If someone were to describe me I think they would say I am dependable, honest, hard-working, and have a loving personality. I have always wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. I love working with children and look forward to getting my own classroom. I believe one thing that makes me unique is that I had the opportunity to spend a summer in Brazil and attend schools. I was able to not only sit in on classes but I was also asked to help with the classes. I helped to teach English and I also was given the opportunity to do a small presentation on who I am and where I am from. I learned so much and I am hoping to use the knowledge I gained to help my students. I had so many great teachers who made such a positive impact on my life, I hope to one day have that effect on my students. |
