| Introduction | The sky is not the limit. Limitless opportunities exist for self-improvement, and education. My father always said,"do not depend upon others to carry you, You are responsible for educating yourself to support yourself". I firmly believe this. I was taught the true meaning of being generous. No matter what position we are in we have room to give. This does not mean monetarily, but rather of time, give of yourself, and those who have unmet needs. |
| Interests | Health Care is a passion of mine since I was a child. I was a hypochondriac and sought out encyclopedias to research pathophysiology. I started out doing medical billing briefly as a teenager and loved it. I asked my boss at the time if there was a degree program for the work I was doing. She told me about the degree in medical records. That fall I majored in Health Information and attained a degree and subsequent accrediatation as an Registered Health Information Technician(RHIT). Do not confuse this with IT the degree is for medical records. |
